First encounter with Cedric
There was stood an animal as clear as day and no matter what Eric would do or say, this animal did not run away. It was a magnificent beast, unlike anything Eric had ever seen before. If he had to describe it, it was like a cat with a long thin body, and a tail but with little stumpy legs and, what looked like a black mask over it’s eyes. The animal had appeared out of nowhere giving Eric quite a surprise. As he sat and looked on some more the animal seemed to flicker, vanish and then was not there anymore. This confused Eric greatly because he could have swore that the animal had not moved, but just faded out of sight, but maybe it was just a trick of the light. So there stayed Eric, looking out from behind a tree and I front of him was Cedric, a ferret that no one can see.
